摘要
Abstract
Chronic heart failure(CHF)is a common end-stage cardiovascular disease in the elderly.Its high incidence,readmission rate and mortality have made it a major global public health concern in the field of geriatric health.As key endocrine hormones regulating metabolism and cardiovascular function,thyroid hormones with abnormal serum levels are closely associated with the occurrence,develop-ment,severity and prognosis of chronic heart failure in the elderly.Elderly patients with chronic heart failure often present with euthyroid sick syndrome,among which low triiodothyronine(T3)syndrome is the most common,characterized by decreased serum total T3 and free T3 levels with normal thyroid-stimulating hormone levels.By reviewing relevant domestic and international studies in recent years,this review summarizes the physiological regulatory effects of thyroid hormones on the cardiovascular system in the elderly,abnormal characteristics of serum thyroid hormone levels in elderly patients with chronic heart failure,pathophysiological mechanisms of their interaction,clinical appli-cation value of thyroid hormone detection,and advances in intervention therapy targeting abnormal thyroid hormones.It aims to provide theo-retical references and clinical insights for the severity evaluation,prognosis judgment and individualized treatment of chronic heart failure in the elderly.关键词
