Analysis and evaluation of inflorescence quality of second-crop grape germplasm resources in hot regions

Abstract
[Objective]This study aimed to investigate the inflorescence quality of the second crop and its relationship with node positions in grape germplasm resources,clarify the differences in abnormal inflorescence development among various grape germplasm resources,and provide basis for the selection of suitable germplasm resources for double-cropping cultivation in hot regions and analyzing the mechanism of abnormal development of grape inflorescences.[Method]A total of 98 grapegermplasm resources(including Vitis vinifera L.,Vitis vinifera L.×Vitis labrusca L.,Vitis vi-nifera L.×Vitis amurensi Rupr.,other varieties)in the hot regions of Guangxi were used as materials.Under double-cropping cultivation and management practices,the bearing node positions(nodes 1-8),inflorescence morphology and ab-normal types of the second-crop inflorescences were investigated,and their occurrence frequency and combination charac-teristics across different germplasm resources and node positions were statistically analyzed.[Result]All 98 germplasm re-sources could form second-crop inflorescences,among which normal inflorescences were observed in 35 germplasm re-sources,acounting for 35.71%.The normal inflorescences were mainly located at the 3rd to 5th nodes,while the normal in-florescences located at the 1st,2nd,7th,and 8th nodes were relatively rare.Among them,the normal inflorescences located at the 5th node account for a significantly higher proportion than other nodes(P<0.05).Among 40 Vitis vinifera L.germ-plasm resources,there were 37 and 39 grape germplasm resources with tendril type and differentiation cessation type of abnormal inflorescences respectively.Both one-tendril and two-tendril abnormal inflorescences occurred simultaneously in 57 germplasm resources;both three-tendril and two-tendril abnormal inflorescences occurred simultaneously in 55 germplasm resources,and among these,52 germplasm resources simultaneously had only scale on single head abnormal inflorescences.Shine Muscat grape had 9 types of abnormal inflorescences.The germplasm resources of Vitis vinifera L.×Vitis labrusca L.often had more complex abnormal flower combinations such as trophic tissue type,while the germplasm resources of Vitis vinifera L.often had common types such as two-tendril abnormal inflorescences,death point abnormal inflorescences,and only scale on single head abnormal inflorescences.The number of abnormal inflorescence types at the 6th node was the highest,with a total of 10 types.Riverbank 6 grape was the only germplasm resource that had abnormal inflorescences at 1st to 8th nodes.[Conclusions]Under the two-cropping cultivation in the hot regions,abnormal inflores-cences occur frequently in the second crop of different grape germplasm resources.Moreover,there are great differences among different germplasm resources in terms of the ability to form normal inflorescences,the complex composition of abnormal inflorescences,and the distribution of node positions.Two-tendril and only scale on single head types are com-mon in abnormal inflorescences in the second crop,and they are more concentrated at medium and high node positions.关键词
