Construction of a curved PVDF nanofiber membrane and its application in self-powered piezoelectric sensing
摘要
Abstract
Poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF)has attracted extensive attention in the realm of flexible wearable electron-ics and self-powered sensor devices due to its excellent β-phase piezoelectric properties and favorable machinability. However, conventional electrospun PVDF nanofiber membranes exhibit uniform internal stress distribution, leading to limited piezoelectric response under low-load conditions. To address this,a structural regulation strategy involving sol-vent post-treatment is proposed to induce in-situ bending of PVDF nanofibers. After acetone post-treatment,the PVDF nanofiber membrane undergoes controllable plastic deformation below the glass transition temperature, constructing a periodic bending structure with a radius of 2~4 μm,and achieving curvature fixation through rapid solvent evaporation.Under external mechanical stimulation, the bending structure produces a significant local stress concentration effect,ele-vating the stress at the maximum curvature to 3~4 times that of straight nanofibers, thereby effectively amplifying the β-phase dipole moment orientation change and piezoelectric response.Piezoelectric nanogenerators constructed based on this curved PVDF nanofiber membrane exhibit excellent sensing sensitivity and cycle durability under low-frequency hu-man motion. This method, which does not require the introduction of inorganic fillers or high-temperature processing,is simple and scalable, providing a new structural regulation approach for the design of high-performance flexible piezo-electric materials and self-powered sensors.关键词
