Abstract
Objective To investigate the current status of rehabilitation nursing in medical institutions in Zhejiang Province, and to provide data and evidence for decision-making to promote its development. Methods A self-designed survey questionnaire was used to conduct a census of 77 medical institutions across 11 prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang Province that had established departments of rehabilitation medicine or related rehabilitation departments. Results Among the 77 surveyed hospitals, specialized rehabilitation nursing services included neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation, respiratory rehabilitation, and pediatric rehabilitation.Neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation each accounted for 50%or more of cases across all hospital levels. The most frequently applied rehabilitation nursing techniques,in descending order, were positioning and transfer techniques, activities of daily living training, rehabilitation techniques for disorders of consciousness, exercise rehabilitation, and respiratory rehabilitation. The routine implementation rates for positioning and transfer techniques and activities of daily living training were 81.17%and 77.82%,respectively.However,psychological rehabilitation and intelligent rehabilitation techniques were less frequently implemented. The development of rehabilitation medicine was uneven across hospital grades.Secondary and unclassified hospitals faced bottlenecks in the staffing of specialized rehabilitation nursing personnel, scientific research innovation, patent development, and research project applications. Conclusions Rehabilitation nursing in Zhejiang Province has established a solid foundation. However, greater efforts are needed in the training of specialized rehabilitation nursing personnel and the development of rehabilitation nursing specialties. The precision and specialization of rehabilitation nursing techniques require further improvement to better meet the diverse rehabilitation needs of patients.关键词
