摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the potential pathogenesis of Posner-Schlossman syndrome(PSS)by analyzing the inflammatory cytokine profile in the aqueous humor of patients with cytomegalovirus(CMV)-negative PSS complicating systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).Methods Two patients(3 eyes)clinically diagnosed with PSS complicated by SLE and negative for CMV-DNA in the aqueous humor were enrolled as a PSS group, while three patients(3 eyes)with primary open-angle glaucoma(POAG)were enrolled as a control group(POAG group).Inflammatory cytokines in the aqueous humor were detected using protein chip analysis, and differentially expressed inflammatory cytokines were subjected to gene ontology(GO)functional enrichment analysis, and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment analysis. Results Compared with the POAG group, the PSS group showed significantly upregulated the expression of platelet-derived growth factor-BB(PDGF-BB),regulated upon activation normal T cell expressed and secreted(RANTES),and neutrophil-activating peptide-2(NAP-2).GO functional and KEGG pathway enrichment analyses indicated that these differentially expressed proteins were mainly involved in leukocyte chemotaxis and migration, and were primarily distributed in vesicle lumen and platelet α granules. Conclusion In CMV-negative PSS patients with SLE,the aqueous humor showed upregulated expression of PDGF-BB,RANTES and NAP-2 levels, suggesting a possible special inflammatory pattern mediated by autoimmunity.关键词
