Abstract
[Research purpose]This study examines Indian think tanks'perceptions of"Make in India"in order to understand the current state and challenges of India's manufacturing industry,as well as to explore feasible approaches for achieving mutually beneficial cooperation between"Make in India"and the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry.[Research method]This study selects 10 representative publications issued by five Indian think tanks as its research sample and primarily employs qualitative content analysis,carrying out coding theme-based categorization on the selected publications to systematically extract the core views of Indian think tanks.[Research conclusion]The study finds that Indian think tanks focus primarily on the impacts of"Make in India,"the challenges facing"Make in India,"responses to its existing problems,and the relationship between"Make in India"and"Made in China."In response,China should strengthen dialogue and exchanges on manufacturing development between China and India,enhance cooperation between Chinese and Indian enterprises,promote the development and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry,and fully leverage the role of think tanks in facilitating exchanges,thereby contributing to the further development of China-India relations.关键词
