Museum Education through Transdisciplinary Perspectives:A Case Study of the Educational Development of Handscroll Butterflies

Abstract
This study examines the theoretical foundations and practical pathways of museum education through a transdisciplinary lens.By reviewing academic historiography,it analyzes the cross-boundary logic of museum education across three dimensions:between fields,between disciplines,and between theory and practice.Taking the educational development of the Palace Museum's collection the Handscroll Butterflies as a case study,the research explores innovative applications of transdisciplinary thinking in museum pedagogy.The findings demonstrate that transdisciplinary approaches in museum education could:Deepen artifact interpretation by enabling innovative transformation of traditional artworks into scientific educational resources;Expand outreach boundaries through audience-specific strategies and new media dissemination facilitated by interdisciplinary technological convergence;Drive educational evolution by establishing iterative feedback mechanisms between theoretical frameworks and practical implementations.Thereby,the study highlights museums'dual value in cultural heritage interpretation and scientific literacy cultivation,proposing a replicable paradigm for knowledge production at the intersection of cultural preservation and STEAM education.关键词
