肺癌患者口服中药期间自我管理行为及主观体验的质性研究
Qualitative Study on Self-Management Behaviors and Subjective Experiences of Lung Cancer Patients During Oral Chinese Herbal Medicine Treatment

Abstract
Objective To explore the real experience of lung cancer patients taking oral Chinese medicines and the formation mechanisms of their self-management behaviors,aiming to provide evidence for developing appropriate interventions.Methods From May to August 2025,13 inpatients with lung cancer who had completed TCM treatment and had discontinued medication for no more than 6 months were selected by purposive sampling from the Oncology Department of Affiliated Hangzhou First People's Hospital for semi-structured interviews.Their interview data were collected and analyzed using the content analysis method.Results A total of 5 themes and 10 sub-themes were extracted:① Restricted access and acquisition of Chinese medicine information(singular reliance on medical institutions;dubious reliability of self-sought channels);② Limited ability to understand Chinese medicine information(low educational level,restricting cognition;high knowledge threshold,creating pronounced cognitive stratification);③ Divergent self-management during TCM treatment enabled by modernization(reliance on hospital-provided decoction services,simplifying the process;self-decoction building rich hands-on experience);④ Coexistence of efficacy recognition and trust crisis(deep trust rooted in cultural identity and personal experience;multiple concerns about drug quality and treatment process);⑤ Weak social support and communication barriers(passive dependency in physician-patient communication;dual deficiency of professional and non-professional support).Conclusion Lung cancer patients face multidimensional challenges in their overall experience of oral TCM treatment.It is recommended to improve their medication experience and self-management behaviors by enhancing medication literacy,optimizing physician-patient communication,and building a multilevel social support network.关键词
