中草药复方超微粉对奶水牛犊牛腹泻的临床疗效与安全性评价
Clinical efficacy and safety evaluation of Chinese herbal medicine compound ultrafine powder on diarrhea in dairy buffalo calves

Abstract
The experiment aimed to investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of compound ultrafine powder of Pulsatilla powder and Gegen Qinlian powder in treating diarrhea in dairy buffalo calves.A total of 100 calves with natural diarrhea were randomly divided into five groups,with 20 replicates per group and one calf per replicate.The low-dose Pulsatilla group(group A)and high-dose Pulsatilla group(group A1)were administered 5 g/(head·d)and 10 g/(head·d)of Pulsatilla compound ultrafine powder,respectively.The low-dose Gegen Qinlian group(group B)and high-dose Gegen Qinlian group(group B1)were administered 5 g/(head·d)and 10 g/(head·d)of Gegen Qinlian compound ultrafine powder,respectively.The western medicine control group(group C)received alternating or combined treatment with 2.5 mg/kg enrofloxacin and 5 mg/kg mequindox(both calculated as active ingredients).The trial period lasted seven days.The results showed that compared with group C,the total effective rate and cure rate in groups A1 and B1 were significantly increased(P<0.05),and the average disease course was significantly shortened(P<0.05).The mortality rate of diarrheal calves across the whole farm decreased by 69.72%compared with the same period in previous years.The average daily gain and the serum concentrations of immunoglobulin G(IgG),immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin M(IgM),total protein(TP),and albumin(ALB)in groups A1 and B1 were significantly higher than those in group C(P<0.05),while liver and kidney function indicators including alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),creatinine(CRE),and urea nitrogen(BUN)remained within normal ranges.The study shows that compound ultrafine powder Chinese herbal medicine can safely and effectively treat diarrhea in dairy buffalo calves,with the Pulsatilla compound ultrafine powder at 10 g/(head·d)showing superior efficacy in promoting growth and enhancing humoral immunity,thereby providing clinical data supporting the reduction of antibiotic use.关键词
