旅游赋能城市土地绿色高效利用的空间效应与影响机制
The spatial effects and impact mechanism of tourism promoting on green and efficient utilization of urban land

Abstract
Tourism has evolved into a strategic pillar industry within the national economic system,with its sustained advancement serving as a critical driver for the green and efficient utilization of urban land.Deciphering the intrinsic mechanisms through which tourism development shapes such land use patterns holds substantial theoretical value and practical implications.Theoretically,this study systematically elaborated on the direct impacts,spatial spillover effects,and specific action paths of tourism development on the green and efficient utilization of urban land.Empirically,based on the panel data from the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2003 to 2022,the(dynamic)spatial Durbin model,the mediating effect model,and the moderating effect model were used to systematically investigate the spatial spillover effect and influence mechanism of tourism development on the green and efficient utilization of urban land.The findings revealed three critical insights:(1)Tourism development exhibited a balanced evolutionary trend oriented by"multi-core agglomeration".The overall level of green and efficient utilization of urban land showed a trend of first decreasing and then increasing.The high-value areas of the two partially overlapped in spatial distribution within the Yangtze River Economic Belt.(2)Urban tourism development drove significant improvements in the local green and efficient utilization of urban land,while imposing a negative spatial spillover effect on this metric in neighboring cities in the short term.Over the long run,however,the statistical significance of both the local driving effect and the spatial spillover effect associated with tourism development was markedly attenuated.(3)Mechanism tests indicated that tourism development indirectly promoted the green and efficient utilization of urban land through three pathways:industrial structure optimization,urban green innovation,and environmental regulation.Urban industrialization played a negative moderating role.(4)Heterogeneity analysis demonstrated that highly specialized tourism cities exhibited a notable positive spatial spillover effect in the short term,distinctively differing from the broader sample and other city types.Over the long term,the impact of tourism proved more substantial in smaller cities.These findings provide a theoretical framework and policy recommendations for fostering high-quality tourism development and the green and efficient use of urban land within the Yangtze River Economic Belt.关键词
