Abstract
To breed a new processing tomato cultivar suitable for planting in northern Xinjiang,with high yield and high lycopene con-tent,to meet the demand of local processing industry for high-quality raw materials,the F1 hybrid combination was made by crossing inbred line'12-22'(female parent)and'G-124'(male parent).Its agronomic traits,yield,quality and disease resistance were compre-hensively evaluated through variety comparison test and multi-year multi-site regional trials.The results showed that'Kuifan T77'was a determinate growth type cultivar with strong growth vigor.The fruitwas red and oval-shaped with average single fruit weight of 81.0 g and medium firmness.The average yield of regional trials was 140 160.45 kg·hm-2,which was 7.02%higher than that of the con-trol'Xinfan 15'.The lycopene content was 132.0 mg·kg-1,13.01%higher than the control.The average incidence of early blight was 15.9%,which was 2.7 percentage points lower than that of the control(18.6%).It is concluded that,'Kuifan T77'is a mid-early ma-turing processing tomato F1 hybrid with high yield,high lycopene content and good commercial quality,which is suitable for popular-ization in northern Xinjiang.关键词
