Abstract
Against the backdrop of the in-depth integration of all-around rural revitalization and digital strategy,digital inclusive finance and rural digitalization have become core collaborative engines for breaking down county-level financial exclusion barriers and activating high-quality county economic development by virtue of factor linkages and data empowerment advantages.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces,autonomous regions,and municipalities(directly under the central government)in China(excluding Xizang Autonomous Region,Hong Kong,Macao,and Taiwan Regions)from 2014 to 2024,this paper adopted the entropy method to measure the level of rural revitalization,and applied the coupling coordination model to calculate the coupling coordination level of digital inclusive finance and rural digitalization.It constructed a benchmark regression model to investigate the overall impact of their coupling coordination on rural revitalization,further employed the threshold regression model to verify the stage differences of such impact at different levels of rural digitalization,and finally used a spatial econometric model to identify its spatial spillover effect on rural revitalization in local and neighboring provinces.The results showed that:the coupling coordination level of digital inclusive finance and rural digitalization in China increased steadily from 2014 to 2024,forming a regional pattern of"leading in the Eastern Region,catching up in the Central Region and the Northeast Region,and surpassing in the Western Region",with an overall favorable development trend across provinces.The coupling coordination level exerted a significant positive promotion effect on rural revitalization,with a stronger empowering effect in regions with underdeveloped rural revitalization.The regression results of the threshold model showed that the synergistic promotion effect of digital inclusive finance and rural digitalization on rural revitalization was influenced by the development stage of rural digitalization,and there was a significant single-threshold effect.The spatial effect analysis showed that there was a significant spatial spillover effect of the synergistic impact of digital inclusive finance and rural digitalization on rural revitalization,the improvement of local coupling coordination level could not only empower local rural revitalization,but also significantly boost rural revitalization in neighboring areas.Accordingly,this paper proposes suggestions including improving rural residents' digital literacy,strengthening the construction of financial-digital infrastructure,guiding the injection of funds into rural revitalization construction,promoting the integration of rural digital industries and innovation in diversified business formats,and establishing cross-regional coordination mechanisms,so as to drive comprehensive rural revitalization through long-term digital collaboration.关键词
