Abstract
In 2025,China Film Administration issued the Notice on Promoting the Orderly Development of Virtual Reality Films,formally bringing virtual reality(VR)films under China's film industry regulatory framework and marking a new stage in the industrial development of this emerging format.This paper systematically examines China's VR film industry across four dimensions:institutional development,technological evolution,content supply,and distribution and exhibition.It also analyzes the core challenges currently facing the industry.The findings indicate three major trends in the future develop-ment of VR films in China:in terms of technology,intelligent empowerment and consolidated operational support will ad-vance in tandem;in terms of content creation,equal emphasis will be placed on deepening immersive storytelling and di-versifying subjects and genres;and in terms of industrial development,progress will be driven by the twin forces of industry regulatory refinement and ecosystem synergy.关键词
