Student-Centered Innovation and Practice in Organic Chemistry Teaching Based on"Five Characteristics"Classroom
摘要
Abstract
Organic chemistry is a core foundational course for majors such as chemical engineering and technology, pharmaceutical engineering, etc. It is characterized by abstract reaction mechanisms, complex molecular structures, diverse reactions, and strong applicability.Traditional teaching modes, which are teacher-centered and knowledge-oriented,result in low student engagement, insufficient learning motivation, and a need to enhance the alignment between the curriculum and professional requirements as well as comprehensive educational effectiveness. To address the above issues, guided by the educational philosophy of"student-centered,outcome oriented, and moral education",and closely aligned with the new requirements of emerging engineering education and professional accreditation,an integrated teaching system was developed and implemented,featuring"two-driven modes,three-dimension integration,four-step characteristic teaching,five-step ideological and political education, and diversified evaluation".This approach has created a"five characteristics"classroom with"motivation, characteristics, interest, connotation, and harvest".Teaching practice demonstrates that this reform has effectively stimulated students'learning motivation, significantly enhanced their professional identification with the course, goal attainment, and overall educational outcomes. It has also supported the course's recognition as a national first-class undergraduate course, providing a replicable model for similar course reforms and the cultivation of high-quality applied talents.关键词
