Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of modified ultrasound-guided technique and traditional blind puncture method in thoracic puncture and catheter drainage.Method:A total of 86 patients who underwent thoracic puncture and catheter drainage in Suzhou Wujiang District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2023 to December 2025 were selected as the research subjects.The patients were divided into the observation group and the control group by the random number table method,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with the traditional blind puncture method for thoracic puncture and catheter drainage,while the observation group was treated with the modified ultrasound-guided technique for thoracic puncture and catheter drainage.The one-time puncture success rate,operation time,catheterization time,VAS score,incidence of complications,extubation time and hospital stay of the two groups were compared.Result:There was no statistically significant difference in the one-time puncture success rate between the two groups(P>0.05).The operation time and catheterization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group,and the VAS score was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The extubation time of the observation group was earlier than that of the control group,and the hospital stay was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of modified ultrasound-guided technique in thoracic puncture and catheter drainage can alleviate patients'pain,reduce the risk of complications and shorten the length of hospital stay.关键词
