青光眼中西医结合视功能保护疗效差异的影响因素分析
Analysis of Influencing Factors on Efficacy Differences of Integrated Traditional Chi-nese Medicine and Western Medicine for Visual Function Protection in Glaucoma

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the influencing factors for efficacy differences of integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine therapy for visual function protection in primary glaucoma patients with well-controlled intraocular pressure(IOP).METHODS Clinical data of 101 patients(202 eyes)with primary glaucoma and well-controlled IOP who received visual function protection treatment at the Eye Hospital,China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences from January 2019 to June 2023 were enrolled.General information of all patients was collected,and best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),mean sensitivity(MS)and mean defect(MD)were detected before and after treatment for comparison.According to the efficacy evaluation criteria of glaucoma,patients were divided into an effective group(191 eyes)and an ineffective group(11 eyes).Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to analyze the influencing factors for efficacy differences of visual function protection in glaucoma.RESULTS(1)Visual function indicators:After treatment,BCVA and MS were improved while MD decreased in 101 patients(202 eyes),with statistically significant differences(tBCVA=4.955,P=0.000;tMD=2.201,P=0.029;tMS=3.272,P=0.001).(2)Univariate analysis on influencing factors for efficacy differences of visual function protection in glaucoma:There was statistically significant difference in glaucoma classification between the two groups(χ2=4.161,P=0.041).No statistically significant differences were found in gender,age,glaucoma staging,family history of glaucoma,hypertension history,diabetes history and high myopia history between the two groups(all P＞0.05).(3)Multivariate analysis on influencing factors for efficacy differences of visual function protection in glaucoma:Primary open-angle glaucoma achieved more remarkable clinical efficacy compared with primary angle-closure glaucoma,the difference is statistically significant[OR=3.930,95%CI(1.083,14.266),P=0.038].CONCLUSIONS Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)and Western Medicine therapy exerts satisfactory effects on visual function protection for primary glaucoma patients with well-controlled IOP.Glaucoma classification is an influencing factor for efficacy differences.Special attention should be paid to integrated TCM and Western Medicine visual function protection therapy especially for patients with primary open-angle glaucoma.关键词
