突发性聋患者创伤后成长与生活质量的关系
The relationship between post-traumatic growth and quality of life in patients with sudden deafness
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation between post-traumatic growth and quality of life in patients with sudden deafness, and identify risk factors for low quality of life. Methods A total of 150 patients with sudden deafness admitted to the hospital from January 2020 to August 2025 were enrolled in the cross-sectional survey and completed the general information questionnaire,Chinese version of post-traumatic growth inventory(C-PTGI)and 36-item short-from health survey questionnaire(SF-36).The correlation between C-PTGI and SF-36 scores was analyzed.Clinical data were compared between patients with low SF-36 scores(<Q1)and those with higher SF-36 scores(≥Q1).Logistic regression was used to identify independent risk factors for low quality of life. Results Questionnaires were recovered from all 150 patients, with 5 excluded due to obvious patterns in the responses, resulting in 145 valid responses(96.7%).The mean total C-PTGI and SF-36 scores were 58.61±10.35 and 61.88±11.28 on a 100-point scale, respectively. The total C-PTGI score was positively correlated with the total SF-36 score(P<0.05).The total SF-36 score was<Q1(low-quality-of-life)in 36 patients and≥Q1 in 109 patients.Clinical features of those with SF-36<Q1 included older age, longer time from onset to treatment, higher mean pure tone audiometry(PTA)thresholds and higher scores on self-rated depression and anxiety scales,as well as lower education level and C-PTGI scores, compared to those with SF-36≥Q1(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression indicated that older age, high pure tone average thresholds, delayed treatment and low C-PTGI score were independent risk factors for low quality of life(P<0.05).Conclusions Post-traumatic growth in patients with sudden deafness is positively associated with quality of life.Low post-traumatic growth is an independent risk factor for low quality of life.In addition, older patients with severe hearing loss and delayed treatment are also prone for poor quality of life.关键词
