中山地区新生儿听力筛查分级管理模式构建及成效评价
Construction of a hierarchical management model for neonatal hearing screening in Zhongshan region and evaluation of its effectiveness

Abstract
Objective To construct a hierarchical management model(HMM)for newborn hearing screening(NHS)and evaluate its application value for potential broad adoption.Methods This retrospective study included 84 251 newborns from midwifery institutions in Zhongshan from December 2018 to November 2024,whose NHS was managed by either the newly constructed HMM(study group)or traditional protocol(control group).The subjects were also divided into a pre-and a post-pandemic group based on the time of birth.The rates of screening,initial recall,initial screening failure,rescreening failure,diagnostic referral,and loss to follow up were collected and compared among the groups using interrupted time series analysis.Results Comparison showed statistically significant differences between the study and control groups regarding the instantaneous and long-term effects of initial screening recall and rescreening loss to follow up,as well as the long-term effects of rescreening failure and diagnostic referral(P<0.05).Conclusions Application of the newly constructed HMM in NHS in Zhongshan region showed significant effectiveness in optimizing multiple key indicators and improving NHS quality,and can be adopted in other regions.关键词
