Abstract
Chinese drum culture has a long and rich history.Among its various forms,the Lanzhou Taiping Drum,Ansai Waigu Drum,Shanxi Weifeng Luogu Drum,Kaifeng Panggu Drum,and Fengyang Huagu Drum are collectively known as the"Five Drums"of China.This paper focuses on the Lanzhou Taiping Drum as its central subject,exploring its profound significance as a symbol of Northwest China's agrarian culture and a metaphor for shamanism from new perspectives in folklore and cultural anthropology.By comparing the performance functions and current status of the"Five Drums",the study reveals the patterns of transformation in folk art under the impact of modernization and offers new insights into the protection of intangible cultural heritage.关键词
