养心安神方治疗气阴两虚型老年射血分数保留型心力衰竭患者的临床疗效
The Clinical Efficacy of Yangxin Anshen Formula in the Treatment of Elderly Patients with Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction of Qi-Yin Deficiency Pattern

Abstract
Objective To explore clinical efficacy and safety of Yangxin Anshen Formula combined with conventional Western medicine in the treatment of elderly patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(HFpEF)of qi-yin deficiency pattern.Methods A total of 98 elderly patients with HFpEF of qi-yin deficiency pattern who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group using a random number table.After dropouts,90 patients completed the study,with 45 cases in each group.The control group received conventional Western medicine treatment(including ACEI/ARB,β-blockers,and diuretics),while the treatment group received Yangxin Anshen Formula orally on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.The two groups were compared in terms of changes in B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP),6-min walk test(6MWT),soluble suppression of tumorigenicity 2(sST2),growth differentiation factor 15(GDF-15),and Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire(MLHFQ)scores and safety parameters(liver and renal function,electrolytes),as well as the New York Heart Association(NYHA)cardiac function classification efficacy,and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)symptom score efficacy before and after treatment.Results After the treatment,the levels of BNP,sST2,GDF-15,and MLHFQ scores in treatment group were significantly lower than control group(BNP:P=0.036;sST2,GDF-15,and MLHFQ scores:P<0.001),while the 6MWT distance was significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of cardiac function improvement was 88.9%(40/45)in the treatment group and 71.1%(32/45)in the control group,and the comparison between groups showed that the treatment group had superior efficacy(P=0.019).The total effective rate of TCM symptom score was 95.6%(43/45)in the treatment group,which was significantly higher than 66.7%(30/45)in control group(P<0.05).Safety indicators remained normal in two groups,with no statistically significant differences between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Yangxin Anshen Formula combined with conventional Western medicine in the treatment of elderly patients with HFpEF of qi-yin deficiency pattern can effectively reduce the levels of cardiac function-related biomarkers such as BNP,sST2,and GDF-15,significantly improve their exercise tolerance,cardiac function classification,and TCM clinical symptoms,enhance quality of life,and exhibits good safety.关键词
