The Construction of People's Character in Anthologies of Ancient Chinese Poetry during the"Seventeen Years"Period
摘要
Abstract
Renminxing(people's character),a core concept in Marxist aesthetics,marks a key feature of socialist literature and art.This is notably reflected in the anthologies of ancient Chinese poetry published during the"Seventeen Years"period:they highlight the people's plights,criticize the decadent ruling class,and praise the motherland in content,while emphasizing realism and folk song styles in art.The people's char-acter in these anthologies represents a concrete application of the principle of making the past serve the present and vividly echoes the spirit of the era.The experiences and shortcomings deserve further reflection and summary.关键词
