Abstract
The spiritual isomorphism Dunhuang Studies and Tunpu Studies breaks the spatial barriers between northern and southern regions,providing a solid theoretical foundation for the juxtaposed study of the two disciplines.Their functional complementarity remedies the perspective limitations of research con-fined to a single frontier region and endows interdisciplinary dialogue between them with significant aca-demic value.Constituting a dual research system featuring north-south juxtaposition,static-dynamic coordination,and openness-conservation interplay,they fully demonstrate the dual paths of the spread of Chinese civilization in frontier areas.Meanwhile,they profoundly illustrate Chinese civilization's structur-al characteristics of diversity in unity,its inclusive cultural temperament,its spiritual traits of forging a-head and persevering,as well as its enduring.关键词
