Abstract
The disciplines of"Gesar Studies""Jiangge Studies"and"Manas Studies"have evolved into specialized,international,and comprehensive fields.Accordingly,domestic scholars have situated them within the international academic framework to document the processes of collecting,translating,publish-ing,and researching the epic texts.Specifically,foreign academic circles discovered and studied these three heroic epics earlier than their Chinese counterparts.However,whether in the compilation of textual re-sources for the epics or in fieldwork grounded in the oral performance context,China has not only accumu-lated substantial quantitative resources through its objective conditions but has also reinforced qualitative strengths through the engagement of multiple stakeholders,thereby manifesting a national confidence rooted in cultural prosperity and ethnic resilience.Building upon these foundational endeavors,China's scholarship on the three heroic epics has risen to prominence,surpassing its predecessors and creating a space for dialogue with international epic theory through the multi-ethnic and interdisciplinary explora-tions of its scholars.关键词
