Abstract
To explore the characteristics and causes of flood damage in the Jiuyuan small watershed in Mentougou District caused by the"23·7"extreme rainstorm,the recurrence interval of this flood was calculated through field surveys and hydrological calculations.The underlying surface conditions,gully morphology,current management status,and disaster damage characteristics were analyzed,which revealed the deficiencies in traditional small watershed management.Based on this,a segmented management approach with the principle of"safety first,adapting to local conditions"and targeted ecological restoration strategies were proposed.The survey and analysis results showed that the Jiuyuan small watershed suffered severe damage during this flood,with a flood standard exceeding a 100-year return period and a total sedimentation volume of approximately 108,000 m3.These findings provide a scientific basis and technical support for the post-disaster recovery and reconstruction of the gully area,and hold reference significance for the systematic management of small watersheds in Mentougou District and similar mountainous regions.关键词
