The manifestation of the subjectivity of Chinese culture for resolving the debate over ancient-modern and Sino-Western issues:study and implement the theoretical essence of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture

Abstract
Xi Jinping Thought on Culture provides the fundamental guidance for resolving the debate over ancient-modern and Sino-Western issues.This debate represents a century-long cultural and intellectual struggle wherein the Chinese nation,under the forceful impact of Western culture,sought to overcome the cognitive predicament concerning the subjectivity of Chinese culture.It stemmed from a historical loss of the subjectivity of Chinese culture in modern China's encounter with modernity,which manifested as a dichotomy between tradition and modernity,and between indigenous and foreign civilizations,reflecting a deeper imperative to reconstitute cultural subjectivity within the modernization process.The cultural accomplishments achieved through socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics have created the contemporary conditions necessary for resolving this predicament.The subjectivity of Chinese culture is the key to this resolution.The crux lies in consciously leveraging the theory of the Two Integrations to reshape and deepen the subjectivity of Chinese culture.This involves breaking through the cognitive paradigm of Western centralism and fostering a new form of civilization that embodies both national character and the spirit of the times through the principle of upholding fundamental principles while breaking new ground.It entails forging one's own path to create a new cultural organism,thereby achieving a creative integration of the soul of Marxism with the root of Chinese civilization.The process of resolving this debate is,in essence,the reshaping and consolidation of the subjectivity of Chinese culture.It pioneers a new path by integrating traditional genes with modern values,establishes a new civilizational paradigm that transcends Western centralism through the unique character of Chinese civilization,and culminates in a new cultural organism with distinctive Chinese features.In advancing this new form of human civilization,it accomplishes not only a reconstruction of the values of Chinese civilization but also contributes Eastern wisdom to the world that transcends the clash of civilizations.The contemporary manifestation of the subjectivity of Chinese culture,through its dialectical development of upholding fundamentals while innovating,explores a paradigm of civilizational development for humanity's modernization that is firmly grounded in local context while remaining inclusive and innovative.关键词
