Abstract
Industry-university-research(IUR)collaboration serves as a critical model for enterprises to promote R&D innovation and foster new quality productive forces,holding significant implications for enhancing total factor productivity and achieving high-quality development.Based on the data of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2012 to 2023,this paper empirically examines the enabling pathways of IUR collaboration for enhancing enterprises'new quality productive forces.The findings are as follows.Firstly,IUR collaboration significantly facilitates the improvement of enterprises'new quality productive forces.Specifically,both the breadth and depth of IUR collaboration have a positive impact on the growth of new quality productive forces,with the depth exerting a more prominent enabling effect.Secondly,mechanism analysis reveals that IUR collaboration promotes the development of new quality productive forces mainly by enhancing the balance and complementarity of ambidextrous innovation,while collaboration breadth dominates the optimization of balance,collaboration depth strengthens the synergistic effect of complementarity.Thirdly,heterogeneity analysis indicates that the promoting effect of IUR collaboration on new quality laborers is significantly stronger than that on new-quality means of production.Meanwhile,the enabling effect is significantly enhanced in enterprises with executives with academic backgrounds or technical independent directors,enterprises located in regions with a high concentration of universities or sound intellectual property protection,and high-tech enterprises.This study clarifies transmission pathways through which the structural characteristics and innovation mechanisms of IUR collaboration synergistically promote enterprises'new quality productive forces,providing theoretical insights and empirical evidence for the government to optimize the IUR collaborative innovation system and realize the transformation towards high-quality development.关键词
