乌鲁木齐市草种业发展现状和对策
Current Status and Countermeasures of Grassland Seed Industry in Urumqi,Xinjiang

Abstract
[Objective]As the"source industry"for ecology,animal husbandry and other fields,the grass seed industry serves as the core foundation for safeguarding ecological security and the sustainable development of animal husbandry.This study was conducted to address the bottlenecks in the development of grass seed industry in Urumqi,meet the surging demand for high-quality grass seeds driven by the state's increased support for grassland ecological restoration and protection as well as the development of modern animal husbandry,and to promote the development of the local grass seed industry to fill market gaps and expand development space.[Methods]Through on-site investigations and literature reviews and other methods,the current status,problems and challenges faced by Urumqi's grass seed industry were analyzed,and the shortcomings in its development were pointed out,such as unclear resource inventory,insufficient supervision and management,weak technology for the development and utilization of native grass seeds,and low participation of enterprises.[Results]Combining the geographical,resource and technological advantages of Urumqi,countermeasures were proposed,including conducting surveys on grass germplasm resources,standardizing market order,focusing on technological breakthroughs,and cultivating leading enterprises.[Conclusion]The findings were expected to contribute to the sound and healthy development of grass seed industry in Urumqi and provide reference for future grassland protection and construction.关键词
