Joint Optimization Design of Hybrid RIS-assisted Integrated Sensing and Communication(ISAC)Systems
摘要
Abstract
Focusing on the problem of maximizing the weighted sum-rate of communication in multi-user multi-target communication and sensing services, the integrated sensing and communication(ISAC)system assisted by hybrid reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)is investigated.A joint optimization model for key parameters including ISAC base station transmit beamforming, hybrid RIS reflection coefficients, and hybrid RIS active/passive mode distribution is established under constraints on the total system power,per-sensing-target beampattern gain, and hybrid RIS noise power, with the objective of maximizing the weighted sum-rate of communication. To expedite the system design, the original problem is first transformed into a rank-constrained semidefinite programming problem. Then, the system design problem is decomposed into three subproblems:the optimization of the ISAC base station beamforming matrix, the hybrid RIS reflection coefficient matrix, and the hybrid RIS mode distribution matrix.A same timescale alternating optimization scheme based on semidefinite relaxation is proposed.Furthermore,a low-complexity two timescales scheme is designed,in which the RIS mode distribution is optimized based on statistical channel information at the large timescale and the beamforming and reflection coefficients are alternately optimized based on instantaneous channel information at the small timescale.Simulation results demonstrate that the same timescale scheme improves the weighted sum-rate by approximately 10%compared with the two timescales scheme.关键词
