New Transformations and Crises in Capitalist Labor Exploitation:A Critical Reflection
摘要
Abstract
The transformation of production under digital capitalism has obscured the central role of labor in commodity production,giving rise to a new form of digital fetishism that misattributes the creation of social wealth to digital technology itself.In reality,digital capitalism has not overcome its dependence on labor;rather,under the guise of so-called"free labor",it has intensified the exploitation of labor,achieving qualitative shifts in its content,spatial reach,and operational mechanisms.As the mode of surplus-value production evolves,the inherent contradictions of capitalism are further amplified,manifesting in digital overproduction,rising unemployment,and widening social inequality.In response to these multifaceted crises,a rigorous critique grounded in Marxist political economy is urgently needed to lay bare the underlying laws of social production.On this basis,new practical pathways can be forged through critical reflection on the misuses of digital technology,by improving social governance to prevent digital disorder,upholding a people-centered approach to steer technology toward the common good,and establishing mechanisms for the equitable sharing of digital resources to narrow the wealth gap.关键词
