Abstract
Chronic pancreatitis(CP)is characterized by progressive structural destruction of the pancreas and gradual loss of pancreatic function,with recurrent or persistent abdominal pain as the predominant clinical manifestation,which severely compromises patients'quality of life.Therapeutic strategies for CP include medical management,endoscopic interventions,and surgical treatment.Accumulating evidence indicates that surgical intervention offers superior long-term pain control and improved clinical outcomes,and the concept of early surgical management has gained increasing attention.Although existing classification and staging systems for CP facilitate disease assessment,their value in guiding surgical decision-making remains limited.This review summarizes the clinical features,existing classification systems and surgical treatment strategies for CP,with a particular focus on comparing the indications and therapeutic efficacy of endoscopic versus surgical treatments,aiming to provide a reference for the comprehensive management of CP.关键词
