快速交换球囊扩张导管在EPBD术中的应用观察
Application of rapid exchange balloon dilation catheter in endoscopic papillary balloon dilation

Abstract
We have designed and self-made a"rapid exchange balloon dilation catheter"with the following characteristics:(1)the sheath is equipped with a guidewire lumen,a balloon lumen,and a contrast lumen.The outlet of guidewire lumen is located at the distal tip of the sheath,while its inlet is positioned on the wall of the sheath at the proximal side of balloon;(2)the outlet of contrast lumen is set on the sheath wall at distal side of balloon.In this study,34 patients who underwent endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP)for common bile duct stones in Cholelithiasis Center of East Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University from January 2026 to March 2026 were retrospectively selected.Endoscopic papillary balloon dilation(EPBD)was performed with a self-made rapid exchange balloon dilation catheter during ERCP.The time required for placement of a balloon dilation catheter,the rate of guidewire prolapse,the time required for extraction of a balloon dilation catheter,the satisfaction rating of medical staff,and postoperative complications such as bleeding,perforation,and pancreatitis were observed.EPBD was successfully implemented in all 34 patients.The time required for placement of a balloon dilation catheter was(15.28±7.35)s.No guidewire was prolapsed.The time required for extraction of a balloon dilation catheter was(8.37±4.62)s.The satisfaction rating of endoscopists was(9.32±0.68)points,and the satisfaction rating of nurses was(9.56±2.85)points.One case of postoperative hyperamylasemia occurred;bleeding,perforation,or acute pancreatitis was not found.In conclusion,this self-made rapid exchange balloon dilation catheter for EPBD can significantly shorten the operation time and reduce the incidence rate of guidewire prolapse during catheter exchange,with high satisfaction ratings among medical staff throughout the procedure.关键词
