High-quality Development of Comprehensive Rural Revitalization through Dual-dimensional Empowerment by Agricultural New Quality Productive Forces and the Digital Economy
摘要
Abstract
In the era of digital economy, the new quality agricultural productive forces have become an important engine to drive the high-quality development of rural revitalization. This paper takes the new development concept as a guide, the twenty-word policy of rural revitalization as an orientation, the people's need for a better life as an objective, and constructs the index of high-quali-ty development of rural revitalization from five dimensions:high-efficiency agriculture, green ecology,education-centered,better life and grassroots governance. It also empirically analyzes the intrinsic connection between the new agricultural productivity and the high-quality development of rural revitalization. This study finds that the new agricultural productivity can significantly contribute to the high-quality development of rural revitalization. This positive facilitating effect still holds after controlling for endogeneity and con-ducting a series of robustness tests. At the same time, with the continuous deepening of the high-quality development of rural revital-ization among regions, this promotion effect shows a marginal increasing feature. The heterogeneity test shows that in the eastern re-gion,the Yangtze River Economic Belt region, and regions with a high level of scientific and technological innovation and marketiza-tion,the positive facilitating effect of the new quality agricultural productive forces on the high-quality development of rural revitaliza-tion is more significant.Analysis of the mechanism of action shows that the new quality agricultural productive forces drive the high-quality development of rural revitalization by giving full play to the effects of income growth and R&D and innovation.Further analysis shows that digital economy,as an important external basic condition, can strengthen the positive effect of new quality agricultural pro-ductive forces on the high-quality development of rural revitalization. This paper not only broadens the research related to the driving factors of high-quality development of rural revitalization, but also provides policy pointers for the government to deeply promote the new agricultural productivity. This paper aims to provide replicable practical pathways for accelerating the development of a strong ag-ricultural country.关键词
