抗旱丰产冬小麦新品种陇育8号的选育及栽培技术
Breeding and Cultivation Techniques of the New Drought-resistant and High-yielding Winter Wheat Variety Longyu 8

Abstract
To address the low and unstable wheat yield caused by climatic conditions in the Longdong region and the shortage of new winter wheat varieties combining high quality,drought resistance,high yield,and stable yield,Longyu 8,formerly designated Longyu 0456,was developed with drought resistance,cold resistance,disease resistance,high yield,and stable yield as the major breeding objectives.The variety was bred by the pedigree method from a cross between Longyu 1 as the female parent and Xinong 1043 as the male parent.From 2012 to 2014,it participated in the provincial winter wheat regional experiment in Longdong,Gansu Province,with an average equivalent yield of 4 308.72 kg/ha,an increase of 6.24% compared to that of the control varieties.Specifical-ly,its yield was 10.91%higher than that of the control variety Xifeng 27 in 2012 to 2013 and 2.66% higher than that of Longyu 4 in 2013 to 2014.In the 2014 to 2015 Gansu provincial production experiment for dryland winter wheat in Longdong,the average equiva-lent yield was 5 042.70 kg/ha,representing an 8.47% increase over the controal variety Longyu 4.Longyu 8 is a winter type variety with a growth period of about 270 d and 5.385 to 6.195 million effective spikes/ha.It has a compact plant architecture,a plant height of approximately 90 cm,and spindle-shaped spikes,with 31.9 to 36.3 grains per spike,a 1000-grain weight of 30.9 to 35.6 g,and a bulk density of 767.7 to 817.5 g/L.Its drought resistance is rated at grade 1,resistance to premature senescence at grade 2,maturity appearance at grade 1 to 3,with good yellowing at maturity,and cold resistance at grade 1.It is moderately susceptible to stripe rust,powdery mildew,and barley yellow dwarf disease,and highly susceptible to leaf rust.The grain contains 133.9 g/kg crude protein(dry basis)and 292 g/kg wet gluten(14%wet basis),with a sedimentation value of 23.2 mL,water absorption of 59.2%,dough stability time of 3.0 min,maximum extensograph resistance of 128 E.U.,extensograph area of 25 cm2,and extensibility of 131 mm.Longyu 8 is suit-able for cultivation in Xifeng,Zhenyuan of Qingyang City,Kongtong,Jingchuan of Pingling City,and other areas with similar ecologi-cal conditions in Gansu Province.关键词
