陇中寒旱区莴笋新品种筛选试验
Screening Experiment of New Asparagus Lettuce Varieties in the Cold and Arid Region of Central Gansu

Abstract
In order to screen out new varieties of high-quality and high-yield asparagus lettuce suitable for cold and arid cli-mate conditions in central Gansu,a systematic variety comparison test was carried out in this study.A total of 11 new lettuce varieties were introduced,and the local main lettuce variety Hongbatian was used as the control.Through the comprehensive comparative analy-sis of the growth period,agronomic traits,yield performance,commodity quality,nutritional quality and adap tability of each variety,the growth potential and economic benefits of each variety in cold and arid environment were systematically evaluated.Results showed that Tianzihong 2 variety showed strong high temperature resistance,moderate growth period of 94 d,favorable individual-plant traits,good marketability,and high nutritional quality,with a soluble protein content of 0.88 mg/g and a vitamin C content of 56.1 mg/kg.It showed outstanding overall performance,with an equivalent yield of 85 075.80 kg/ha,43.31%higher than that of the control variety Hongbatian,and an output value of 119 106.12 Yuan/ha,representing an increase of 35 997.99 Yuan/ha over the control.Therefore,Tianzihong 2 is recommended to be popularized and planted as the main asparagus lettuce variety in Yuzhong County.The yields of va-riety 4024 and Tianhong were also high,exceeding that of Hongbatian by 39.27% and 31.60%,respectively.However,they showed certain deficiencies in marketable quality and may therefore be used as supplementary varieties under specific cultivation conditions.This study provides a scientific basis and practical reference for the selection and industrialization development of asparagus lettuce varieties in Yuzhong County and other regions with similar cold and arid climatic conditions.关键词
