Abstract
[Objective]A comprehensive evaluation was conducted on nine orange cultivars preserved in the citrus germ-plasm resource nursery of the Chaozhou Agricultural Science and Technology Research Center,aiming to screen superior varie-ties suitable for local promotion and optimize the planting structure.[Methods]Nine orange cultivars were used as test materi-als.Ten growth and fruit quality indicators,including yield per plant,canopy width,fruit set rate,optimal fruit-hanging peri-od,fruit cracking rate,single fruit weight,soluble solid content,edible rate,seed number per fruit,and peel thickness were measured.Ten sensory indicators,including fruit shape,peel smoothness,peel color,flesh texture,flesh color,melting tex-ture,juiciness,sweetness,acidity,and sensory flavor,were scored.The Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)was applied to determine the weight of each indicator,construct a comprehensive evaluation system,calculate comprehensive scores,and rank the varieties.[Results]The weight analysis indicated that among the data indicators of nine orange cultivars,soluble solid con-tent(21.69%),yield per plant(17.83%),and fruit cracking rate(11.27%)were assigned higher weights.Among the senso-ry indicators,sensory flavor(20.72%),sweetness(16.61%),and flesh color(11.21%)received higher weights,identifying them as key indicators affecting the overall quality of oranges.The comprehensive evaluation results showed that Bingtang Or-ange ranked first in both data indicator score(73.57)and sensory indicator score(68.25),achieving the highest overall score.Cara Cara Orange ranked second overall,demonstrating outstanding performance in peel and flesh color.Navel Xuegan received the lowest overall score,ranking ninth.[Conclusion]Bingtang Orange exhibits excellent fruit quality and optimal comprehensive performance with no significant deficiencies.Cara Cara Orange possesses distinctive characteristics and good marketability.Based on comprehensive consideration,Bingtang Orange and Cara Cara Orange are recommended as key cultivars for promotion in the region.关键词
