基于眼动追踪技术的5～12岁儿童快速命名特征研究
Characteristics of rapid naming based on eye-tracking technology in children aged 5-12 years

Abstract
Objective This study employed eye-tracking technology to investigate the oculomotor characteristics and developmental patterns of Chinese-speaking children aged 5-12 years across four rapid automatized naming(RAN)tasks-colors,objects,digits,and Chinese characters-with the aim of providing an empirical basis for the early identification of risk for reading difficulties.Methods A multistage stratified sampling method was used to recruit 459 children aged 5 to 12 years in Nanjing.Eye movement data were collected using the Tobii Eye Tracker 4C during four rapid automatized naming(RAN)tasks,including total naming time,total fixation count,total regression count,line-reading stability,total saccade count,and mean saccade amplitude.Generalized estimating equations(GEE)were employed to analyze the effects of age group,task type,and their interaction.Results With increasing age,children showed significant improvements across all eye movement indicators,as reflected by shorter total naming time,fewer total fixations,fewer total regressions,higher line-reading stability,fewer total saccades,and smaller mean saccade amplitude(Wald χ2 values ranged from 18.904 to 538.029,P<0.05).A significant interaction was found between age group and task type,with younger children showing greater differences across tasks while older children showed reduced differences(Wald χ2 values ranged from 39.785 to 185.763,P<0.05).Conclusion The eye movement characteristics of children aged 5-12 years during rapid automatized naming(RAN)tasks reflect the gradual maturation of visual-language pathway automaticity and cognitive control abilities,providing both theoretical and practical references for the early identification of children at risk of reading difficulties.关键词
