人工智能技术驱动城市新质生产力发展的影响研究
Research on the Impact of Artificial Intelligence Technology on the Development of Urban New Quality Productive Forces

Abstract
By reshaping the technological innovation system,artificial intelligence technology empowers the development of urban new quality productive forces and has become an important issue for deeply implementing the national"AI+"initiative and promoting high-quality economic development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.This paper uses panel data of 279 prefecture-level cities in China from 2010 to 2024 as a sample to empirically examine the effects of artificial intelligence technology on urban new quality productivity and its underlying mechanisms.Results are as follows:first,artificial intelligence technology significantly promotes the development of urban new quality productive forces.This promoting effect exhibits regional heterogeneity characterized by"stronger in the eastern and western regions but weaker in the central region"and"stronger in the south than in the north",as well as dynamic heterogeneity,with the effect being stronger at the stage of artificial intelligence industrialization than at the stage of industrial intelligence.Second,the technological innovation system serves as a mediating mechanism,which can be specifically de-composed into two paths:the resource support path and the resource misallocation correction path,and the two paths form a chain-mediating relationship.Moreover,the promoting effect of artificial intelligence technology on urban new quality productive forces ex-hibits obvious double-threshold characteristics.Third,the analysis of economic consequences shows that this driving effect positive-ly promotes the upgrading of industrial structure but has a negative impact on green development.Therefore,focusing on the trans-mission mechanism of the technological innovation system between artificial intelligence technology and urban new quality productive forces,and strengthening the guidance of regional policies and medium-and long-term policies,should be key directions for pro-moting the development of urban new quality productive forces.关键词
