益气养阴通络汤联合针刺对围绝经期骨质疏松症脂肪细胞因子、骨硬化蛋白及血清钙磷乘积、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶4的影响
Effects of Yiqi Yangyin Tongluo Decoction combined with acupuncture on adipocytokines,sclerostin,serum calcium-phosphorus product,and glutathione peroxidase 4 in perimenopausal osteoporosis

Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of Yiqi Yangyin Tongluo Decoction combined with acupuncture on adipocytokines,sclerostin,serum calcium-phosphorus product,and glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4)in patients with perimenopausal osteoporosis.Methods A total of 102 patients with perimenopausal osteoporosis treated at Wuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2021 to October 2023 were enrolled and randomly assigned to two groups using a random number table.The control group included 51 patients who received conventional Western medical treatment,while the treatment group included 51 patients who received Yiqi Yangyin Tongluo Decoction combined with acupuncture in addition to the treatment given to the control group.Clinical efficacy,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,six-point behavioral rating scale(BRS-6)scores,bone mineral density,Chinese Osteoporosis Quality of Life Questionnaire(COQOL)scores,and the levels of sclerostin,advanced glycation end products(AGEs),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),GPX4,adiponectin,leptin,receptor activator of nuclear factor κB ligand(RANKL),estradiol,follicle-stimulating hormone,and the calcium-phosphorus product were compared between the two groups.Results The clinical efficacy in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After treatment,,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,BRS-6 and COQOL scores,as well as the levels of AGEs,TNF-α,adiponectin,leptin,follicle-stimulating hormone,sclerostin,and RANKL,decreased in both groups compared with baseline(P<0.05),and were lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,bone mineral density,GPX4,estradiol,and the calcium-phosphorus product increased in both groups compared with baseline(P<0.05),and were higher in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Yiqi Yangyin Tongluo Decoction combined with acupuncture can regulate adipocytokines and the calcium-phosphorus product,reduce inflammatory and oxidative stress injury,improve bone metabolism and sex hormone levels,alleviate disease severity,and enhance bone mineral density and clinical efficacy in patients with perimenopausal osteoporosis.关键词
