湘南地区碳酸盐岩中缝合线发育特征及其形成机制
Development Characteristics and Formation Mechanism of Suture in Carbonate Rocks in Southern Hunan Province

Abstract
[Objective]The carbonatite strata in southern Hunan province mainly include the Middle Devonian Qiziqiao Formation,the Upper Devian Shetianqiao Formation,the lower member of the Upper Devonian Xikuangshan Formation,the Lower Carboniferous Shidengzi Formation,the Lower Carboniferous Zimenqiao Formation,and the Middle-Upper Carboniferous Hutian Group.A common fissure structure in these strata is the suture.Suture not only serve as key markers for identifying and determining bedding planes in carbonate rocks but also represent essential structural elements for investigating the stress state of the strata.Studying their development characteristics and genetic mechanisms is thus of great significance for understanding regional diagenesis.[Methods]Through detailed field investigations,it was determined that significant differences exist in the density and intensity of suture development in carbonate rocks from different stratigraphic units in this region.To characterize these differences more precisely,typical suture samples from each unit were selected,and fractal dimension analysis was applied for quantitative characterization of suture morphology.Additionally,multiple analytical techniques,including geochemical analysis and electron probe line scanning,were employed to conduct detailed compositional analysis of the suture films in representative sutures.[Results]These analyses not only quantitatively revealed the variation patterns of suture development intensity but also uncovered differences in chemical characteristics between the suture host rock and the suture film material.[Conclusions]By comprehensively analyzing the above research findings,the formation mechanism of sutures was systematically summarized,providing robust micro-scale data support for in-depth studies of stylolite structures in carbonatite.关键词
