BPPV患者睡眠质量与呼吸暂停低通气指数及焦虑抑郁状态的相关性
Correlation of sleep quality with apnea-hypopnea index and anxiety/depression status in patients with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo

Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation of sleep quality with the apnea-hypopnea index(AHI)and anxiety/depression status in patients with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(BPPV).Methods A total of 206 patients with BPPV who were treated at Jincheng People's Hospital from June 2024 to June 2025 were enrolled.Sleep quality was assessed using the Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI).According to PSQI scores,the patients were divided into the sleep disorder group(92 cases,PSQI≥7)and the normal sleep group(114 cases,PSQI<7).AHI was recorded using polysomnography.Anxiety and depression status were evaluated using SAS and SDS,respectively.Pearson correlation analysis was used to examine the correlations among PSQI scores and AHI,anxiety,and depression scores.Logistic regression analysis was performed to identify influencing factors.Results The sleep disorder group had significantly higher age,BMI,prevalence rates of diabetes and hypertension,and PSQI scores than the normal sleep group(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences between the two groups in the distribution of AHI severity categories,anxiety status,and depression status(P<0.05).The sleep disorder group also had significantly higher AHI,SAS and SDS scores than the normal sleep group(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that PSQI scores were positively correlated with AHI,SAS scores,and SDS scores(r=0.470,0.697,0.700,P<0.001).Logistic regression analysis revealed that the elevated AHI,SAS scores,and SDS scores were influencing factors for sleep quality in patients with BPPV(P<0.05).Conclusion A relatively high proportion of patients with BPPV have sleep disorders.Sleep disorders in these patients are closely associated with the severity of apnea,as well as anxiety and depression status.Elevated levels of AHI,anxiety scores,and depression scores are independent influencing factors for sleep quality in patients with BPPV.关键词
