Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment of Dry Eye Disease Based on the Theory of"Dryness should be Moistened"
摘要
Abstract
"Dryness should be moistened"means that any disorder with the pathogenesis characterized by pathogenic dryness consuming fluids and desiccating body liquids should be treated with the medicinal materials or methods possessing moistening and nourishing properties to replenish body fluids,overcome dryness,and restore a harmoniously moist state.By delving into the theory of"dryness should be moistened"and analyzing the pathogenesis of dry eye disease,this paper explores the feasibility of applying this theory to dry-eye disease.Taking textual research and pathogenic analysis as the main thread,we systematically review the historical evolution of this theory and extract the dual pathogenic mechanisms of fluid insufficiency and impaired fluid distribution.Integrating the theories of the lung,spleen,liver,and kidney,we construct a layered therapeutic strategy termed the"dual-axis&three-dimension"model.The theory of"dryness should be moistened"can further refine traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation and treatment approaches for dry eye disease.关键词
