电针八髎穴联合中药灌肠治疗混合痔术后肛门坠胀的疗效观察
Efficacy of Electroacupuncture at Baliao Acupoints Combined with Chinese Herbal Enema in Treating Anal Heaviness after Surgery for Mixed Hemorrhoids

Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture at Baliao acupoints combined with Chinese herbal enema versus electroacupuncture alone in treating anal heaviness(syndrome of Qi stagnation and blood stasis or dampness-heat pouring down)after surgery for mixed hemorrhoids,and to explore the potential synergistic mechanisms involved.Methods A total of 100 patients with anal heaviness(syndrome of Qi stagnation and blood stasis or dampness-heat pouring down)after the external dissection and internal ligation surgery for mixed hemorrhoids at the Hospital of Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine between March 2024 and October 2025 were randomly assigned to either the combination group(electroacupuncture at Baliao acupoints+Chinese herbal enema,n=50)or the electroacupuncture group(electroacupuncture at Baliao acupoints alone,n=50).Treatment was administered once daily for 10 consecutive days.The primary outcome was the severity score of anal heaviness.Secondary outcomes included Visual Analog Scale(VAS)score,wound edema score,hematochezia score,overall response rate,and incidence of adverse reactions.Results After treatment,the combination group had lower anal heaviness score,VAS score,wound edema score,and hematochezia score than the electroacupuncture group(P<0.01).The overall response rate of the combination group was 96.0%,which was higher than that(76.0%)of the electroacupuncture group(P<0.01).Neither group reported severe adverse reactions.Conclusion The combination of electroacupuncture at Baliao acupoints and Chinese herbal enema is significantly more effective than electroacupuncture alone in alleviating anal heaviness after surgery for mixed hemorrhoids(syndrome of Qi stagnation and blood stasis or dampness-heat pouring down).This therapeutic advantage may stem from a multidimensional synergistic regulatory mechanism involving neural-inflammatory-pelvic floor function.For patients with anal heaviness after hemorrhoid surgery,it is important to leverage the advantages of combining external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine to improve treatment outcomes.The combined regimen is safe and effective,warranting clinical application and promotion.关键词
