企业研发外包绩效的结构性分化研究
Research on the Structural Differentiation of Performance in Enterprise R&D Outsourcing:Evidence from the National Innovation Survey Enterprise Database

Abstract
R&D outsourcing is a crucial strategic approach for enterprises to leverage external innovation resources and accelerate technological iteration,with performance characteristics serving as the core basis for identifying its actual effectiveness.Based on the National Innovation Survey Enterprise Database,this paper empirically examines the structural impact of R&D outsourcing on enterprise performance in China.The study reveals that R&D outsourcing exhibits structural differentiation characteristics of"improved formal innovation performance,weak substantive innovation performance,and suppressed financial performance."The conclusion remains valid after robustness checks.Mechanism analysis identifies obstacles in the transmission of"formal-substantive"innovation performance;the lack of substantive innovation benefits and the continuously intensifying cost effect are the inherent causes of structural differentiation characteristics.Heterogeneity tests further indicate that strengthening technological exchanges and cooperation with foreign innovation entities and promoting a shift from"quantity to quality"in R&D outsourcing for technologically advanced regions and leading enterprises are effective approaches to alleviate the inhibitory effects of R&D outsourcing on substantive innovation and financial performance.关键词
