Digital-Real Technology Integration,Innovation Rents,and Labor Skill Premium:An Empirical Examination Based on Enterprise Micro-Level Mechanisms

Abstract
The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China emphasized the need to promote deep integration between the real economy and the digital economy.Based on data from Chinese A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2024,this paper empirically examines the impact of digital-real technology integration on labor skill premium.The findings reveal that digital-real technology integration significantly increases labor skill premium,and this conclusion remains robust after a series of endo-geneity and robustness tests.Mechanism analysis indicates that integration operates through three pathways:innovation transmission,governance enhancement,and structural upgrading.Heterogeneity analysis shows that this effect is more pronounced in mature-stage firms,high-tech industries,eastern regions,and non-state-owned enterprises.关键词
