Exploration of the causes and interventions of psychological sub—health among medical graduate students based on the bio—psycho—social model

Abstract
Objective:To explore the causes of psychological sub—health among medical graduate students,and construct a relevant theoretical model,in order to explore feasible strategies for improving their mental health.Meth-ods:A qualitative research method was adopted.Twenty individuals from an affiliated hospital of a university in Hu-nan Province were selected as interviewees.Data were collected through semi-structured interviews.The Nvivo 12 software,Colaizzi's seven-step analysis method,and word cloud analysis were used to analyze the causes of medical graduate students' sub-health,and based on the biopsychosocial model,a theoretical model of the causes of psycho-logical sub-health among medical graduate students was constructed.Results:A total of 120 initial codes,20 sub-categories,and 12 main categories were obtained.A multi-dimensional cause model including three core categories of physiology,psychological behavior,and society and environment was constructed.It was found that social and envi-ronmental factors(accounting for 73.33％)were the main external risk sources,among which academic pressure was particularly prominent.Conclusion:The psychological sub-health of medical graduate students is the result of the in-teraction of multiple factors.Among them,social and environmental factors,especially academic factors,are the main causes of the psychological sub-health of medical graduate students.Improving the mental health of graduate students requires implementing a multi-level combined strategy of"institutional level-relational level-individual level"for coordination.关键词
