Numerical Analysis of Installation Spacing and Inclination Angle on the Fluid Flow Characteristics of Chilled Water Pipes

Abstract
With the aggravation of the energy crisis and the promotion of the national"dual-carbon"strategy,the construction of high-efficiency refrigeration plant rooms has been increasingly emphasized.Under the traditional construction mode,the spacing and inclination angle of chilled water pipe group are too dependent on engineering experience,and it is difficult to accurately predict the actual flow characteristics,which leads to the energy saving effect of the system unable to reach the expected goal.The numerical simulation method of computational fluid dynamics is adopted,combined with three-dimensional modeling technology,the flow characteristics of the chilled water pipe group under different spacing and inclination is simulated,and the flow data is analyzed through visualization technology to explore the influence of installation spacing and installation inclination on the flow characteristics of the law.The results show that with the increase of the installation spacing of the feedwater branch pipe or the increase of the installation inclination angle,the flow characteristics at the connection between the branch pipe and the main pipe are significantly improved,the length of the along-track development of unreasonable flow velocity in the branch pipe is shortened,and the orienting performance of the fluid is optimized,especially under the working condition of installation spacing of 2.5 m and installation inclination angle of 45°,the reduction of dynamic pressure difference is the largest,the reduction of local resistance is more significant,the flow uniformity is the best,and the overall flow performance reaches the optimal state.关键词
