摘要
Abstract
Taking a rental housing project as a case study,this paper explores the embedding strategies of design management in Engineering,Procurement,and Construction(EPC)projects.To address the industry-wide challenges of insufficient depth in feasibility studies and preliminary designs,as well as ambiguous contract boundaries,four embedding principles are proposed:design front-loading,process control,boundary locking,and objectivity and impartiality.Through practical experience,the paper summarizes the feedback on design management in mitigating challenges related to regulatory adjustments,geological risks,and design coordination,thereby achieving integrated design coordination and efficient management.Furthermore,safeguard mechanisms are established to enhance the embedding effectiveness of design management,including the dual-drive model of"general contractor+design,"cross-departmental management organization,mutual trust and incentive mechanisms among participants,post-project evaluation systems,and a training system for versatile construction professionals.关键词
