Abstract
The construction of family,family education,and family ethos is an important part of the national governance system and social development in the new era.Addressing issues such as the weakened structures and function of families,the imbalance between family education concepts and practices,and the weakened inheritance of family ethos is imperative for advancing this construction in the new era.Traditional Lingnan home economics thought originated from the ethics of Central Plains immigrants,the thought of practical application to governance,the integration of diverse cultures and political marginalization.It is characterized by a strong clan consciousness,emphasis on practical results,and integration of folk rituals.Central to this philosophy are filial piety ethics,a family management approach emphasizing diligence and frugality,and a system of family instructions aimed at regulating household affairs and child-rearing.These elements offer valuable insights for addressing modern familial dilemmas.This study investigates the historical origins,conceptual framework,and practical significance of Lingnan traditional family governance within the broader context of Chinese cultural heritage.Employing cultural stratification and alternative theoretical perspectives,this paper elucidates the alignment between these traditional values and the objectives of modern family,family education,and family ethos cultivation.Furthermore,it proposes a community-based integration pathway encompassing the establishment of mutual family support systems,the optimization of family education environments,and the development of mechanisms for the inheritance of family values.This research broadens the scope of inquiry into regional home economics cultures,provides a theoretical foundation for the innovative adaptation of traditional cultural elements,and offers a distinctive"Lingnan experience"applicable to family development initiatives in diverse locales.关键词
