摘要
Abstract
Against the backdrop of rapid urbanization, historic and cultural districts commonly face issues such as spatial decay, functional imbalance, and weakened cultural vitality.Traditional renewal models, predominantly reliant on large-scale reconstruction or static preservation, struggle to address their complexity and sustainability demands.Urban catalyst theory, emphasizing small-scale key interventions to trigger systemic reactions, offers a new pathway for incremental revitalization.Taking the Sanxue Street historic and cultural district in Xi'an as a case study, this article systematically analyzes the district's current problems and catalytic potential from three dimensions—material space, historic heritage, and cultural function—based on a review of the connotations of urban catalyst theory. It constructs a corresponding catalyst factor system and proposes a tripartite renewal strategy of"spatial quality improvement, historical revitalization, and cultural reinterpretation".The aim is to inform sustainable renewal of similar cultural districts in China.关键词
