A Study on the Architectural Spatial Aesthetics and Contemporary Inheritance of Jiwang Temple in Wanrong,Shanxi
摘要
Abstract
Taking Jiwang Temple in Wanrong,Shanxi as a case study, this paper investigates via summer peak fieldwork—external architectural observation,in-depth keeper interviews, and visitor exchanges—focusing on its cultural core of Houji teaching farming, and explores its spatial aesthetics and contemporary inheritance. As China's only extant Song-Dynasty hip-roofed building,it faces multiple challenges.Drawing on cultural translation and genius loci theories,it proposes integrated strategies:graded restoration, experiential communication,dual-track inheritance, and supporting optimization. These offer an operable paradigm for niche ancient buildings'cultural revival, advocating minimal intervention to balance protection/regeneration,elevating Houji's farming spirit from material remains to a contemporary cultural identity carrier.关键词
